Tyler died in the bathroom of a sober living facility from ingesting fentanyl. He was 19 and had struggled with anxiety. He used drugs to self medicate. The DEA handled our case and the dealer was prosecuted federally. He took a plea bargain and got 13 years in federal prison. The dealer had been arrested 10 times before for various drug charges. Tyler’s case was only the second one in Los Angeles  to be handled by the DEA’s new task force.
