On September 10th, 2021, Tyler went to spend the evening with a friend in Waynesville MO. Facebook messages showed Tyler sent this friend $130 via Cashapp to purchase marijuana. The following morning, the friend phoned 911 as Tyler was found unresponsive.  The estimated time of death was 4-6 hours prior to the 911 call. Toxicology showed thc and fentanyl in Tyler’s system. 4.4 ng/ml Fentanyl resulted in Tyler’s death.

A very minimal investigation was conducted. All my son’s belongings, to include his cell phone, keys, wallet, car, and clothing were all left at the scene.

Tyler was an avid outdoorsman and a skilled tradesman. He left behind his beloved 8 month old German Shepherd – Heidi as well as numerous family and friends.
