My son Steve suffered from addiction half of his life. Our family lived with all the ups and downs with him.  He eventually went to jail for 10 months. It was the 1st time in a long time that I could sleep at night. When he was released he started a job, I watched him like a hawk, but it wasn’t enough. 3 weeks later he was dead from fentanyl poisoning. We were heartbroken and our lives will never be the same.
