My son, Sam Doxakis was a loving son, nephew, grandson and friend to many. Sam did struggle with SUD but was more sober than not. Every time he felt it was out of control he would willingly get sober.  On 03/06/2018 a “friend” gave my son a substance to snort which contained fentanyl. My son didn’t know he was getting poison and didn’t have a chance. I found him unresponsive at 10:30am on 3/6/2018 and tried CPR while waiting for first responders. Although his killer has been arrested 29 times since his death, he has not been charged and to date remains a fugitive from justice.
