Nathan “Nate” was my first born. He was the HVAC tech at the apartments I lived in and according to his texts messages he decided to take a break and go get what he assumed was a xanex. He got back to work and was found unresponsive shortly after.  Not once was he given narcan. Not by the medics or at the hospital. He was on life support for 8 days before he’s organs failed.  He had just celebrated his 1 yr wedding anniversary. He left a wife and 2 younger brothers. No charges were filed even though the police copied his phone and proved where he got it from.  He left a dark place in all our lives.
