On November 23rd 2022, Lorenzo Ervin fell victim to a drug induced homicide. He was visiting home to see his family. While visiting, he was given narcotics that were laced with fentanyl. He passed as a result of fentanyl poisoning and was placed in a field near the location of where the vehicle he was driving was placed.
