My daughter was murdered by Fentanyl on Memorial Day of 2018. She was living with a friend and was deceased for several hours before the police were notified. The police and investigators admitted to finding the circumstances of  her death suspicious, but the case was ultimately closed as there was no concrete evidence to tie my daughter’s roommate to her murder. I feel the investigation was less than thorough due to the stigma related to my daughter’s drug use and manner of death. The police seemed to be more worried about her roommate’s wellbeing  than worried about her when SHE was the VICTIM!
